Since several conditions of mine have been dealt with, I'm looking at joining the Marines in six months.

Well, having lost my job and I can't seem to find work elsewhere, not to mention a few other reasons that will go unmentioned-the millitary's looking reall friendly right now.

Good Oogly moogly how I envy you all.
I've served in the Marines (88-91) Army (91-00) and Presently support the Coast Guard through the Department of Homeland Security.
I've got to say though ... the best days were the beginning ones (after boot camp).

Well, my six months estimate was out, working on getting my weight down to join in. The Marines definitely want me though (did pretty well on practice ASVAB). Just gotta keep working!

I can't. Ever. Got slapped with a Class 4 medical disqualification because of a hereditary neurological disorder. :/

I cant join the British army for medical reasons. Gutting. Wanted to join the Royal Artillery...
