Re: Turn 5 - Archeology

"Rednus, I am going to head out on a bearing of 270 for about 50 metres, I say we then perform a 360 degree clearing patrol around the area." "Agreed " Red responded, a rhythmic 'blip' emanating from his motion-tracker, registering the other squads below. His gloved fingers jabbing at the settings ...

Re: Turn 5 - Archeology

" First squad " Rednus said, " move uphill, tactical formation, with a twenty-foot spread." We'll settle for an overview of the site first, and proceed upon arrival of sufficient intel regarding terrain, and perimeter size" With this, Chappell began to remove his motion tracker from its housing in o...

Re: Turn 5 - Archeology

A lack of the usual earth gravity is a strange thing to experience. Some would take to it easily, while others, even with all the necessary training, could struggle their entire lives with it. Knowing the force needed to propel oneself in such conditions was an acquired skill, one which Rednus had a...

Re: Turn 5 out

All cool, Nick.

I'm sure a few of us have been monitoring this Sony PSN issue for a while, (I know I have) that's kept me fairly busy, and I have to start uni again soon.

Thanks, will post soon.

Re: Turn 4 - Killer view [updated]

The view had rendered Chappell speechless. Its colors in stark contrast to the pitch black of space made them all the more beautiful. Sentences unspeakable in pleasant company filled his brain, and yet he remained silent, absorbing the spectacle before they would eventually have to leave here again ...

Re: Turn 3 - Enter light

Rednus awoke to the usual noises of marines milling around. As he cleared his throat an ungodly amount of phlegm stewed in his mouth like a warm, thick soup. He resisted the urge to spit it out on the floor, as he had on previous awakenings, and made his way to a WC to expel the foul concoction. Redn...

Re: Turn 2 - Piece of cake

Rednus sat back and listened intently to the well thought out questions, and paid heed to the answers given.
..so, he thought,
..this will be our first fire-mission with the new guys,
I hope they all make it back.
I'm starting to like some of these 'Boots.

Re: Lurkers Icecream!

No, no. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind military re-enactments. Its the adults in home-made wizards outfits throwing imaginary fireballs and guys in t-shirts with cardboard swords that I don't understand. Re: Lurkers Icecream!

Does anyone understand this LARP thing? couldn't they just go paintballing like the rest of us? To me, the idea of *not* hitting each other while yelling numbers, seems a bit pointless. /just sayin', (dont *not* hit me and scream "TWENTY!" or anything...) ;D -Red. / Does Kendo, no padding, full wood...
