Re: Lurkers Icecream!
Is this ok? http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/9625_130359857491_534682491_2408106_4728676_n.jpg Apparently people who don't know reenacting are quick to compare it to LARP. Which yeah its similar but I've done an equal amount of private "tacticals" as I have public "living histories" wh...

Re: Lurkers Icecream!
I'll have to write a book then: "A Yank in Aus: Euro Girls, Digger Girls, and a Backpack of Dreams." Okay not quite that. Regardless, should be about next year, I had to give up my vacation money to fly home for a funeral. And I decided that this summer I'm hiking Fujisan. But I plan on a foray to "...

Re: Lurkers Icecream!
Hey its returning a favor mates! My dad and godfather met while both were in their respective Navies (USN/RAN). Somehow they ended up drinking in a bar together and had to take each other's backs in a fight. Then they played port tag over the next few years, hitting the town if their ships happened ...

Re: Lurkers Icecream!
Bah...
But think about it...
We're in the future compared to the ones in the GMT-# zones
Careful I'll come down there...
Literally. My plan is to vacation in Darwin with my godfather (he really is!) or down to Melbourne with a friend.

Re: Lurkers Icecream!
Hey guy's I'm Johnny and I live in Japan. I'm currently a High School Student on the outskirts of Tokyo and have been at the same school for the majority of my life. I have been a part of this game for about four years and have throughly enjoyed it! I have lived in Japan all my life as well. Bummer...

Re: Lurkers Icecream!
I guess I could add more than just the "regular" geek stuff. Well everything I do is geek stuff in one way or another.. Like I said I'm a US Marine Sergeant and F/A-18 Hydraulics/Structures Technician. Or what we call an "Airframer" its a long tireless, repetitious and mostly thankless job. I sorta ...

Re: Turn 1 - Heart of the scorpion
Private Eichler eventually found where he was to report into his new command who was being reformed at the moment. His "seabags" were left on Gateway's Main Supply deck to be put on his new unit's ship. The room seemed very sparse and barren for even a meeting room. He knew that no matter how hard h...

Re: Roll call Kaus Campaign
Of course the Colonial Marine Tech Manual has a different setup lol, but I think this RPG came first. Personally with the small numbers of the platoon, I opt for the latter since each squad is in an APC. Of course I see a different organization than that. But thats all semantics and nit-picking insa...

Re: New GM as of 1st April
Hmmm. Do you guys got room for another smartgunner or do you want a technical freak? Like I said, I'm open to rebooting Freiburg (smartgunner) or going with my new creation Fippinger (okay fighter, hardcore repair/mech)? And where do I apply and turn these dudes/dudettes in at? Also any chance to ge...

Re: New GM as of 1st April
Spooky. If I can't find Sylvia (which I can't since I don't think she made it to an actual campaign) I got a new character fleshed out. Kind of a rough and rumble type but with a technical knack... Unless there is something else thats needed more (I can reroll something in line with the Unit's needs...

Re: New GM as of 1st April
Well I received the mass-PM and here I am. Apparently Silvia was loss to the winds, I vaguely remember not getting started lol. If you'll have me I'm in. Can even do my own personal avatar... I've been uh... collecting for costuming purposes 8) (I got a helmet and an amazingly good repro of the moti...

Re: Lurkers Icecream!
Hey guys... loooong time no see.... I lurked around and do believe I started in a boot camp thread but I don't think I made it further than that and to be honest, I don't remember it was so long ago. But I obviously still have my account here and received the PM and remembered this place and was lik...
