"Why are you eyeballin' me private?" Morrison snorted "help the corpsmen, or park your ass out of the way." he spat some brown goo towards his feet "once we're aboard ship, and the gear is policed away- you are to report to my office, got that?"
Erika's hearth jumped out of her body.

"Sir, yes sir" she yelled a bit too loud.

She hurried online as ordered.

Too many things were going on in her brain.

Morse heard Morrison "chew" Erika up. He glanced over when it was going on, while waiting for the Neural scan to finish. He couldn't say it wasn't expected, he knew the Luitenant would need to know about what had happened and what Morse had discovered about Erika, atleast this way Morse wouldn't have to deal with it imediatly, and he'd have to probably be there during the talk, or atleast give the medical prospective on it all.

a beep sounded, and Morse checked his little console. An image of the brain was there, and words began to run across the screen

Quinn, for the most part i'm lookin at normal brain activity, some things are lookin a bit... rocked up top here... but no permanent damage from what i can see from here

"So he'll be a functional Marine if he survives." Quinn said shortly. "He's stabilized, and I'd rather avoid dealing with surgery here when the Doc back on the Constaguana can deal with him more easily than I can. That's supposing that he doesn't have anything else wrong with him. Don't use anything else for now."

(OOC: Gentlemen and Lady, You have no knowledge of the fact that Aliens hatch from within the human host. Nobody in this unit has ever seen such a thing occur. So stow this line of discussion. In the next campaign yes you will know more about Aliens, but at this time you know squat. Not even your friendly friends in Black know this information. Sincerely, PR/Nick!)

"You gotta it, Devil Doc. Just needed to get a lil' trinket of mine back." Ward said, then slowly began to etch his way back to the stretcher.

Ward slowly laid down on the stretcher and stared at the rather boring metallic ceiling of the UD-4L drop-ship. He really did not care how injured he was. It hurt like all hell to get up and walk, but that did not bother him. He was a Marine, he could take pain. After all, the old Marine saying went, 'Pain is only weakness leaving the body.' Ward grinned slightly and then glanced over at Schrodder once more.

"Man, hitting an injured man would be like hitting a guy with glasses... wait, bad comparison." Ward said, than chuckled.

In all honesty, he would hit another person regardless if they wore glasses or not. If they got him started, it would be all over for them. They would be knocked out cold when he finished with them. Though, that was just him.

Ward laid down and held his cross in his grip tightly. He was praying to the Lord Almighty that he could go back into combat, despite his injuries. He really did not want to find himself getting kicked out of the action by backroom politics and especially did not want to have a medical discharge from the Corps'. Being a 'what if' type of thinker never did suite him too well. But, he could not help it. It was in his nature to do so.

Petrova sat in his corner of the dropship and munched on some fried chicken.

"Does anybody want some fried chicken?" Petrova asked.

Morse began laughing, because he remembered all through boot camp the offer of fried chicken from Petrova

Petrova smiled and tossed over a piece of fried chicken to Morse. He made sure it was a piece of fried chicken, not his grenades.

"Anybody else want some?" He said, his voice carrying in the dropship.

"Little busy." Quinn said as he had his hands in someone's hip trying to dig out a piece of shrapnel that one of the grenades had sent spinning when it went off too close. "If it's still being offered once I'm off duty and cleaned up, I'm all for it. Providing I don't collapse from exhaustion first."

Erika was so worried about her things that she did not hear Petrova.

Petrova grinned at Quinn.

"You need any help with anything? Like getting tools or drugs? I think I know the difference between them."

Morse continued to check over the mans body, now that the bullet was out. He checked the neural scan results again. There wasn't anything realy wrong up top. Morse put a quick fix where the bullet had been pulled from so he wouldn't bleed to death.

He began to strap the guy in, and said
I'm gonna put ya under, so when ya wake up next, we'll be outa this hell hive.

He grabbed a setative and put it into the man, not a large enough dose to cause a reaction from the setative earlier for the pain.

While he was injecting it he saw Erika's face was just an image of being horrified

Calm down, Relax, we're gettin outa here, the point is were gonna live. Think about the rest a the shit later, remember, they don't put ya in front of a firing squad for carryin extra internal bagage
<tag Erika

God knew if that would help, Morse didn't, but he figured it might do somethin

ooc: i edited this because Quinn and i both did the same thing at once
