Eric tapped Ivanov on the back of the head, and pointed forward beside his face so he could see it. He tapped Schmidt too in case he hadn't seen it. He whispered into his radio, "We need Quinn back or a replacement to cover the tail."


He turned off his reciever so there would be no sound coming from it and slowly moved forward behind his men.

(OOC: I'll message Trevor Schmidt on myspace to get him to come back)

The two medics took over and quickly got Donaldson as comfortable as was possible in the circumstances. As his poncho seemed like it wasn't required due to Quinn having a stretcher, he decided to stash it back in his pack.

He then moved up to 1st Squads tail position and motioned to Roberts that he was ready for his order to move out.

Donaldson situation was not improving.

He is sweat.

The cramps started becoming pain, he whispered "It is too painful, please help me"

His face showed all the pain he was feeling.

Fox thought that dugan would have this medic covered so he moved back up to the rear of his squad. He tapped Dirk lightly on the shoulder to let him know he was back and ready.

Ian Donaldson stood up. He looked around and seemed confused.

Then, he started running along the corridor while yelling "YYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH"

He disappeared into the darkness...

Jonsson's eyes snapped onto the Donaldson. His squad was the closest. "Third squad move in, fast but keep control. Move only as fast as the slowest man." He started after the fleeing man, taking the front, trusting Dugan on the radio to either call off his pursuit or let the other squads know where Third had gone.

Rose cursed aloud at his failure to properly secure Donaldson. The man’s adverse reaction to earlier medication was a far more pressing issue. Besides, Donaldson seemed incapable of stringing a coherent sentence together, let alone jump of the stretcher and run away from the group. Yet that had just happened.

Cursing again as he quickly hoisted himself up right and immediately moved to pursue the deranged scientist. Being the closest member of Third Squad to Donaldson Mal guessed he had the best chance of catching him. It didn’t take long.

The scientist didn’t seem to have any clear idea of where he was going, or even what he was doing. He ran at a fair pace, but seemed incapable of moving in any one direction for more than a few seconds. This alone told Rose that there was something more going on than a mere allergic reaction.

Quickly gaining ground on Donaldson, with the rest of Third Squad close behind, Rose launched himself at the crazed scientist, connecting firmly, driving him to the ground.

Ian Donaldson felt stronger so he started moving and he could free from the people holding him.

He looked around and started running again in the direction of the darkest area. Nobody could stop him, he was faster than ever.

(O.O.C Donaldson would have to run through both Squads 1 & 2 to reach the Space Station, so I'm assuming he's running back along the tunnel towards the dropship airlock where no squads were).


Simovic turned around to see Donaldson running away screaming and then throw off Rose when he tried to apprehend him. This moron was jeopardising the whole mission. Screw silence now "Honeysett we need to take him down and fast, we could either pump him so full of morphine he goes down or shoot him with a M230 Baton round, your call?"


Dugan switched onto the Squad Leader comms channel. "Roberts, Jonnson you carrying any of those Baton rounds you had on Exigo?"

When Tyler heard the scream and saw the civilian scientist, whatever his name was, run right past him, he was dumbfounded more than pissed off. He was somewhat amazed that someone would do something this random and stupid, allergic reaction or not. He prayed that nobody on the PRS station had heard the screams.
