Well it was never really cancelled... Only shelved.

Randy Pitchford heself said they get to it after Borderlands and DNF.

Now apparently there is a cancelled one for PSP?

Also I can't wait either but I'm taking any release dates with a grain of salt they've managed to bounce all over 2011-2012 so far.

They're accepting pre-orders, and it's being advertised at my local games shop. Looks like it's definitely going to happen, people! Looking at the E3 trailers, I'd say it's worth the wait.

Until then, AvP Survivor will have to do for me.
