[Kurosaki, Ichigo]

Kurosaki hadn't spoken. He continued to stare at the bodies. Without touching them, he looked at them, trying to see if they had booby-traps on them.

(Roll Spotting Traps)

"LT, what do you reckon? Work our way up to the top of the house, or find the lightswitch?"

"Jones we're ready to move on your mark"

Jones said in a low voice, "We all wait here until the hole is welded. 3rd, continue your sweep of the room. Once second is finished, we'll all do a sweep of the building, floor by floor. No light switches, all light is what we brought. When we get to the top, don't stick your head out the windows, just clear the area. Hopefully, I'll be able to see where the mayor's house is."



Over the comm's Jones said to Pitt, "Going alright? See what you can find on the layout of the colony."



After issuing his orders, Jones had a prod of the nearest corpse with the butt of his rifle.

OOC: Nick, do we have a map/is the other LT with us? Also, how big did the house look from the outside(how many floors?). Also, stop pointing out the foibles in my plans.

"Got it sir'', Monks said to his squad leader while checking his rifle, still  99.

[Dirk Pitt]

Over the comm's Jones said to Pitt, "Going alright? See what you can find on the layout of the colony."

"Roger that. I'll give you the heads up when I get the information." Dirk said


He slid the chair over to the computer and called up the layout of the colony and the layout of the building that the Marines were in. He also tried to see if any cameras were still up and eunning and if he could tap into them.

(Roll computer use for information)

"Acknowledged LT." replied Private Mongo to Lieutenant Jones order for Third Squad to continue their sweep.

"You want us to fish out any survivors from the pool...if we spot any that is?" he asked over his comm to the Lieutenant.



Following behind Corporal Silvanus, Octavius made sure that his smartgun covered a different angle of fire than his squad leaders as they moved around the pool.  Stopping he made sure to scan all the bodies in the pool to see if any of them were possibly still alive or even to see if he could make out what had been the cause of death.

He wasn't a trained medic but he was pretty sure he could tell a gunshot would from a knife slash, or at least he thought he could.

"You want us to fish out any survivors from the pool...if we spot any that is?" he asked over his comm to the Lieutenant.

"Well, we can't leave them in there. Fish them out and then we may have to leave them here depending on what we find."

[Dugan]

"Be careful though those bodies could be booby trapped. Mongo we're give you a hand sweeping the building rather than you splitting your squad "




While 3rd Squad was checking out the bodies Simovic motioned 1st Squad over to the right door. "Once 3rd Squad is ready to move in we're take the right door and start our sweep. Patch did you pick up anything on your motion scanner?"

[Kurosaki, Ichigo]

Kurosaki turned to quickly address Collins and Quinn.
"You two, when you are done, unsafe any weapons and return with the group"



Kurosaki quickly turned to Sergeant Dugan.
"Sir, awaiting orders"

[Tyler Ishizawa]

As the Marines entered through the ventilation shaft one by one, Tyler held a crouched position, covering the Marines until it was his turn. He ducked down, and made his way into the vent. Eventually, they made their way into a swimming pool, not at all what Tyler was expecting.

Before exiting the vent, Tyler expected to smell the familiar scent of chlorine. He couldn't have been more wrong.

As soon as he dropped from the vent and looked around, he was overcome by an almost unbearable stench. Ishizawa's eyes welled up and he gagged, but heforced himself to keep quiet, for nobody knew if they were alone. He quickly assumed a covering position again, and took a better look around. He then realized what was making the stench as he noticed the bodies floating in the pool. To say the least.... it disturbed him, especially considering that the bodies could have been civilians.

As ordered, Ishizawa began a sweep of the pool along with the rest of 3rd squad, pulse rifle at the ready, and keeping a close eye on the corpses. One could never be too careful.

patch slowly and carefully checked his scanner altered every setting that he could think of to get a clear reading...this was for real, down to one squad sweeping a building no one else doing it if he fucked up now!!!  scanners counted giving the marine that edge over any enemy.
