After speaking to his squad, Kurosaki heard the radio call.

"Roger. This is Golf Romeo 1. Over and out"

Kurosaki was feeling pretty good. He commanded a squad of five, he was earning money, and everything was good. Except for the Synthetic.
Kurosaki knew, some how just knew that the Synthetic had heard him talk about incinerating the two convicts. Probably sent a mind-e-mail to the Corps and was watching him closely to send a behavioral report follow-up should anything happen. If the time called for it, Kurosaki would quickly fire a short burst at the Synthetic and say "OOps, my finger slipped".

Using his PRC-252 field radio pack, Kurosaki switched the radio freq to the Synthetics'. He muttered,
"Hey robot. Why don't you go home? You're not needed here."

EDIT 1: Added anti-robot feelings and comment.

Shepard rolled out of the APC and fell into formation, his kevlar helmet unstrapped. Upon hearing the radio check, he rogered up.

"This is Shepard, Lima Charlie."

Where the hell was the rest of the support squad?! No matter. He fell in to where it looked safe... safe meaning where he wouldn't torch one of his own guys. The girls he could care less about.

He thumbed the safety of the incinerator, causing the torch to come on with a small *woosh*. He adjusted his home made sling, as well. He had created a one point sling on his right shoulder. It was hooked up with a black carabiner and part of the issued incinerator sling. It was more comfortable than the three point, and allowed him to work better with his hands, if need be. His pistol was holstered to his leg with a lanyard in case he got butter fingers.

He wasn't entirely nervous, but he had those pre-combat chills. The feeling of a thousand thoughts racing through your mind. Good, bad, and ugly. They did laps around his head, but he stayed focused. If the job was going to be done, you had to stay focused.

Jean heard it over her ear piece and she matched the voice up with Kurosaki's voice. She wondered if it was prejudice against synthetics, women, or just a hate for anything produced by Weyland Yutani. She found it very sad that a man in charge of a squad had the audacity to pull morale apart, even for the personal dislike of an Android. Jean’s programming was running the numbers on the best response and within a nanosecond it was decided that the best response to Kurosaki was no response at all.

To reply to an adversarial statement would put her in a position to be on the opposite side of the Humans in general and it may have been a seed of discourse specifically planted by Kurosaki to put her in such a predicament. She chose instead to click over to an all-squad comm so that Kurosaki, and everyone else could hear her and it would avert the subject of Kurosaki’s challenge altogether.

“Jean Wey to all units, the tunnels branch out into three directions from here. They provide waste processing pipes, land-line communications, and drainage from the streets above. Tunnels A and B on your maps eventually link back together, but tunnel C eventually branches to a service tunnel network for an abandoned twentieth century subway system. If anyone needs to venture into the abandoned subways, explosive rounds may cause cave-ins.â€
