Wish I'd have thought of these sooner so I could have editted em into the last post, but I'll get em here.

1. How much does an M5 Rocket Launcher weigh, and can one be carried with a smartgun equipped?

2. I can't find Screaming Eagles sheet. - I'm just curious as to what class he is

Morse,

in response to Q2, I think his char sheet is uscmrpgform2.pdf

and in response to Q1 there is a rocket launcher weighing in at 10, with rockets at 8 each in the players guide, though it really needs to be Nick or one of the other more experienced peeps to answer that one.

2 more things then.

Is Screaming Eagle really 16? I thought this came up before and that we only let in marines that were 18, I could be wrong though.

As for the M5 rocket launcher, I assume the tube is 10, but I think 8 for the round might partain to SADAR rounds - since the weapons listing says the M5 round is 2.2. - I'm just wondering if I could carry the rocket launcher and 2 rockets for it since that may come in handy. (Otherwise I'd probably try to get another med kit on there - but I don't wanna steal Quinns thunder)

Minimum age 18.

This takes place sufficiently long after gateway That all injuries are healed.

ref the weight of the round, it states 2.2 Kg, which is 4.85lbs which is what I believe we work in.

Imho, I wouldn't expect someone carrying a weapon like the smartgun to also be carrying a rocket launcher due to a conflict of interest (you're already carrying one "special" weapon) and the weight restriction. Not that I'm saying its impossible, just impractical. My personal military experience is of the ocean going variety so take my words with a pinch of Sodium Chloride.

I'm also not rated for that kind of explosive at all. I'll look for something else, because I've got room for more crap. - But I'm still curious about it none the less.

Morse, if I am playing the original than he would be 24 at this time. As far as a class, he would be a point man, sniper, etc.

No its fine, I just like to keep track of what people look like/do in the platoon so I know whats going on. - I changed my avatar back to my original one because going smartgunner you can't wear a helmet. I just like to know the details in my head for future reference is all. - But is the character 24 and a sniper/pointman (all I got's the sheet for reference so I never know for sure)

Nick can correct me but when I last played James was a M.Sergeant in charge the Easy Eights. He was 18 in 2006 and so he would be 24. At one point he also lead a Marine Recon unit when we ran a campaign using that concept. Then I personally took over as GM assisting Nick while wasbusy with things. Long story short Eagle is a deadly shot, hand to hand expert, the man you want walking point.

I was wondering about wondering about a skill roll request I put in in the other post. Any result on that?

Even at 24 that's quite a stretch....by today's standards....who knows, maybe in the 2170s/2180s things are VASTLY different.....though, personally, I think people should be even older rather than younger than today's typical ages for certain ranks seeing as how almost everyone we see in the movies is 25+ and either a Private, a PFC or a Corporal.

But different strokes for different folks......if you look at WW2; there were TONS of 24 year old First SGTs and 25 year old LT Colonels! :)
