Up Grading your Character with Experience

Okay Gentlemen and Ladies,
It is that time again to determine whether or not you have grown as a character.
We will be using the following rules until such a time that we are able to figure out a better system of character improvement such as Experience points, etc.

1) 1 new skill at Novice Level provided you had to use the skill in previous mission/or it is made known the skill is necessary for the next mission.
2) 50% increase to die roll on 1 existing skill with a 5% increase if failed for the next attempt to roll improvement.

So please post here your desired skill rolls and also the post in which you used the skill that you are claiming at a novice level.

- I'm not following this system. Am I not able to upgrade an existing skill?

Yes
1) Allows for gaining a new skill.
2) Increased chance to improve an existing skill. If die roll fails this time next roll is at +5%. This adds up until finally successful.

Depending on what the others think about the medic situation either take option one in Medical Aid

Or reroll as a medic allowing GM approval.

Quick question.....does the bonus for previous failures kick in immediately or from this point on? I know I have failed to improve Sam's Awareness skill at least twice; and possibly 3 times!

Either way....what the hell....I'll try to improve her Awareness skill again! (I'm nothing if not an optimistic idiot! )

Also; I'll take Climbing at Novice level please!

(This is assuming that I'm understanding you correctly and we can both add a new skill we used during the mission at Novice level AND attempt to increase a skill....if not; then please forget the new skill)

1. - Heavy Weapons (Covered by vehicle weapon use - numerous uses of 242 Buggy Turret this mission and other such weapons in prior missions)

2. - Machine Gun (Widely used during mission)

1) Climbing (like ropeing up to the damn ship.)

2) Security System Operations (Which seems like basicly what I was doing in the APC.)

Okey-dokey; upgrades put into new PDF labelled "Samantha Hall 4" and uploaded; thanks for the rolls Pale! I don't know how to get rid of the earlier versions of the character...but they can be deleted. Nick; do you know how to do this?

Nick can do this. - Next time just upload the file onto the roster with the exact same name as the last one. It will delete the old copy and replace it with the new one.
