Whatever the case with the pistol stopping-power question, Billy will take a VP70. I don't expect it'll get scads of use, but at least it's there.

Secondary weapon will be an Ithaca M39 Shotgun loaded with slugs.

Quinn and Lonebear: No problems with the secondary weapon choices; though Quinn, you're just about maxed out weight wise...keep that in mind.

Sam: Yeah, a LOT of people think Vaz carried a .45, but considered the size of the gun and the size of her hand (she's a VERY short woman), there's no way that's a 1911....also, just found a REALLY cool website; check out for all kinds of movies/tv shows...here's the link for Aliens:

A shotgun's very effective (as seen with Hick's), but obviously only at close range.

Correct: Vasquez uses a S&W Model 39 - 9mm pistol in the movie, uncommon knowledge - Good eyes! :)
