The Marines didn't have much time to think or act before several halogen lights flared on above them, illuminating the unit. Several other Marines were in there with them and looked worse for wear in small scratches, bruises with tears and dings in their armor. The cell seemed to vibrate and the Marines felt a sudden shift in gravity as their stomachs seemed to move towards the ceiling like they were in an elevator.

"There is a hive in the lower parts of this mine. They have been causing us a few problems, and you are going to eradicate them for us." a speaker mounted in the wall broadcasted the words to them. "Your gear will be at the bottom of the shaft, and your ID tags have been entered into our security defenses. Be warned, cause any problems for us, and we will remove your ID tags from our defenses, and you'll have to deal with both."

The elevator came to a stop, and the doors parted. Past them was another room with a sealed door, and in neat piles were the Marine's weapons and other equipment.

Obi felt the sliding shift of gravity and was vaguely aware of bright lights shining down upon him. He could hear voices, all muffled and distorted. Opening his eyes slowly, his vision blurred with a pounding pain throbbing in his head and his whole body ached. Ob attempted to pull himself to his feet, but his limbs betrayed him as he slumped back to the deck. Some small part of his mind realised his was hurt, and badly, before dizziness over took him and he blacked out once again.....
