I don’t think I meant to make him a corporal, sorry about that. Maybe Lance Corporal? What rank do you want him to be? 5-6 years have passed so he probably won’t be a Private.

Well ... chances may be good he's still a Private or a Corporal, depending on how much trouble he gets into. He's serving two masters: the Corps and Finding his Wife.

However, he very likely wised up quickly and kept his nose clean (he didn't get to be captain of his boat by being stupid).

So ... a promotion once a year? Making him E-5 or maye E-6? But then again, a good portion of those years would be spent asleep, reducing the actual lived experience needed for promotion. E-3 or E-4?

I don't know. Whaddya think?

As for the open window on editing, normally I *would* compose in a Word doc and paste over. That's not happening when posting on my phone, alas. More and more these days, my gaming has taken place in my phone. I hate it, as it's a suck-ass platform for gaming, but for days when I'm really busy, the phone is what's available.

I think Corporal is about right. You could be Sergeant but I think it’s more fun to leave room for promotion. I want to bring back promotion as a means of reward for your characters. It’s just difficult when you have a character who’s in the unit for 12 years in real time. You’d think they would eventually be promoted out lol
