Knight ran the algorithms in his head in less than a heartbeat. Five-thousand civilians were on Gaia Station, and according to the latest intelligence, the majority were still alive. The four humans near him were a priority, but they had a chance to save themselves. The Navy crewmen were the only chance for the people inside Gaia Station. He abandoned the others and moved as quickly as he could toward the life support access panel. He pulled open the metal cover and began to type madly on the screen, only slightly hindered by his gloved fingers. As soon as he saw the indicators that life support was reactivated, he locked the screen and returned the metal cover to its position. “I have completed the objective. Life support has been reactivated.”

Three of the men opened fire at the charging alien. Cohen, the Marine, landed a glancing shot on it. Darrel Stark was the clear target, and he opened fire on full auto as it charged. The creature’s body took hits and almost seemed to implode as its black exoskeleton was punctured. Tiny droplets of what must be green blood flew gently forward from the creature’s momentum as its body drifted up away from them. A few of the small droplets spattered across Darrel Stark’s suit. This seemed to be harmless at first, but then they heard an unnatural, automated voice issue a warning. “Alert… suit three has been compromised by an unknown agent. Risk of depressurization is imminent. Seaman... Darrel... Stark… please seek the nearest shelter.”

Knight finished the reboot of Gaia Station's life support system and closed the panel. As he turned around, he saw the short skirmish with that unknown alien creature. Bursts of bullets solved this problem quite easily. At first glance. Knight began moving back to the group of people, suddenly an automated voice announced the imminent depressurization of Seeman Stark's suit. He calculated the odds of several scenarios in the frag of a second, coming up with a solution ...

"Seaman Stark, move up to the entrance hatch 25 yards to the south-east, i will open it remotly"
<Tag Stark>

His fingers flied over his portable terminal and he entered the access codes to open the hatch

Stark was shocked by what happened, this deployment outside was turning into a nightmare situation. He heard Knight's comm traffic and tried to move quickly towards the hatch paying extra attention to making sure his feet were getting good contact with the station's hull so he didn't float away again.

Knight entered the remote access code for entrance hatch H-245, while moving towards it at full speed. As he closed in on Stark he got a chance to glance at his suit. Several small spots of damage came to his recognition ....

"Seaman Stark, i am right behind you. It looks like your suit suffers from several spots of damage on your back. I recommend to get out of the suit immediately, after pressurizing the hatch, once inside. I am right behind you and will assist"

"Everyone Else, you could use entrance hatch H-246, 70 yards to the east, and we will meet up inside Gaia Station"

Bryant made for the secondary hatch. She obviously had some training to do on a rifle range if they survived this cluster fuck. Maybe she'd sweet talk one of the Marines into giving her some aggressive range time. She was about worthless in zero gee combat. She wasn't getting too hard on herself, she was after all a sailor. Her job description didn't read "fight alien monsters in vacuum like infantrymen". But if she was stuck in the task force like she now suspected, she needed to get up to speed quickly.
She batted all this around in her mind as she clomped to the secondary hatch. She cycled it open and backed in. She held the pulse rifle out in front of her to cover whoever else was coming to this hatch.
