U.S.S. Chimera

Post by Corporal Hicks » Mon Sep 21, 2020 7:05 pm

Since we doubled the size of our unit, we will need a larger ship. Say goodbye to the U.S.S. Heimlich, and hello to the U.S.S. Chimera. She is a Crusader-Class Super-Stealth Long Range Assault Troop Transport, or CCSSLRATT for short ;D

That's a pretty cool looking ship....reminds me a bit of the ships used in the short-lived 90s sci-fi show "Space: Above and Beyond" which I always liked.

Certainly could have done with a second season of space: above and beyond. Was a big fan of the combat pilot and marine way they did things, even if it may not be a very efficient use of resources.

I loved that show but typical Fox cancelled it because it didn't reach their designated focus group of 18-25 year olds.
