Morse, Mckenna and Kelly began to herd the bewildered civilians towards the front entrance while Sokolova and Paulson escorted their own prisoner back down the alleyway towards the command post.

Back at the APAC's, Lt Harper leaned over Henniger's shoulder and watched the screen of his remote control deck as he piloted the little recon drone down onto the rooftop and focused the onboard IR camera downwards to survey the room that SgtMaj Sykes was standing in. The reddish blob nearest the door was instantly tagged with a marine issue PDT which the drone recognized as Sykes and highlighted green for friendly on Henniger's control panel. The two heat signitures standing in the corner of the room were both tagged with standard civilian PDT's so the drone connected to the colony's data net and logged into the administration database. It quickly identified the two individuals as Laura Hobbs and Rachel Goldstien, both resident's of Ariarchus registered as employees of the Eye of Oblivion bar. The last three heat signatures, the ones surrounding Sykes, had no PDTs to identify them.

the rear door slammed open under the influence of Halls boot and 2nd squad followed the sergeant through and into the rear of the building. Glancing around, Hall found herself surrounded by doors. The two opposite the door they had made entrance through were firmly closed. The door immediately to the right of their entrance was standing open and led to a back office of some kind. The last two doors led to toilet stalls. The one on the left was closed but the right-hand door stood open and revealed the form of a person wearing combat fatigues hunched over the bowl as if to vomit.

A bead of sweat ran down Sykes' face as he stared down the gun barrel. It was a stressful situation, sure, but most of his job was dealing with stressful situations. Fortunately, engaging and communicating with people was one of his strong suits, augmented by training he had received. His objective now was to get the hostages out of danger and ideally himself too. He also wanted to buy his unit time to set up. In his current state he was unable to dictate the action of his unit, but he trusted all of them with his life. He would have to do so again.

"Okay, I'm going to raise my hand but I'm just keying my microphone. If you walk out that door with that pulse rifle, they might shoot you, so let me order them to stand down." He raised his hand slowly and pretended to key the mic that was already on. "Team, stand down. We have some fellow Marines in here that are armed and I don't want this thing to escalate. We will come out in two minutes." He turned to the guy with the pistol in his face. "Listen, you guys are Marines and so I know you aren't dumb enough to point those guns at my platoon. But seriously, you can trust our medics. McKenna and Davros are good guys, though Davros might talk your ear off. We've fought the xenomorphs more times than I can count. We all fucking hate them and if Wey-Yu did something to you guys, we are siding with you. Your buddy isn't going to make it to a medic you can trust, so you need to trust me."

Upon seeing the guy 'worshipping the porcelain Gods', Samantha said to no one in particular; "Oh for F#$k's sake.....", and shaking her head, she said; "Doc, check on Mr. Hurl over there; everybody else, stay frosty and watch every doorway".

Moving to the open door leading to an office, she carefully stepped in, keeping her Shotgun leveled and quickly doing the 'corners check' as she scanned the room and called out, "Colonial Marines! Anybody in here?"

(IF she gets no response, sees nothing amiss), She'll motion to the closed doors and say, "Okay people, let's check these rooms out, stay alert and at the ready."

Hearing the message over the radio, Sokolova bites her lip in thought. Given she was taken to getting the chef back to the command post, a few thoughts crossed over her mind, some of which involved going and getting the sniper rifle if things got real ugly. The least she could do for the moment is hope that either things simmered down or Hall's squad would be able to extract Sykes before the walls or floor in the backstage were painted red, but she couldn't shake the feeling that things were going to get real hot before the conflict was through.

Finally looking up from where the chef was, she looked over to Paulson, mouthing, "Think one of us needs to go in with them?"

Paulson agreed with Sokolova it would only take one to escort the compliant chef back to the APC's, he nodded and guestured that she should go. he took half a step sideways allowing her easy passage back the way they had come and slowly moved forwards with the compliant man. Paulson didn't look back as he heard Sokolova slip away keeping his eyes glued to his ward, quietly he whispered as the reached the final corner, " nice and slow sir we don't won't any of the others up here getting jumpy , keep those hands nice and still, this is a great pace"

as he rounded the corner of the building, Harper and Williams where looking over, weapons drawn but not threatening.

Nodding to Paulson, Sokolova slides down the alleyway, making sure to give a small signal to second squad so they knew she was going to be entering through the back. "Coming in to provide backup for second squad, hold fire on back door as I enter," she called over the comms.

Before entering the building, she puts away the maul on the sling on her back as she prepares the shotgun, making sure it is loaded outside as to not make the standard pumping sound of cocking the shotgun, in case anyone could hear it from that position. Once verified, she keeps the gun in a non-hostile position for the moment, sliding the door open, seeing second squad in the room tending to the various rooms. Sliding herself into the room, she gets her gun at the ready position, but calls out with a strained whisper, one loud enough to be heard in the room, but not loud enough to be heard from the other rooms, "Sergeant, here to provide backup as our task is finished."

Positive control was had over the patrons at the bar. Though it was a somewhat tense situation, Morse had a feeling that what drew them to the world was going to make things far worse. He had somewhat drawn the conclusion that those that were infected were not worth saving. He'd only see it work once, and the person it worked on had his spinal column severed and went through an incredibly labored rehabilitation process. That was the way of the things that they came across. Morse was mostly going to watch out for the Marines on this one, and keep an eye out to ensure order was maintained.

Sykes was not so far that Morse was not aware of what was happening, but when he noted to stand down and the way he stood in the door, Morse recognized that they were likely brandishing weapons within. Sykes confirmed as such and those being escorted outside just jumped an entire level of danger in his mind. He wasn't sure from where he was who may have a hidden weapon, but what he did know was that the threat of firing that close was not one he'd take lightly.

"Ya'll outside! Now! Move!" Morse ordered, gesturing his weapon towards those being escorted. It did not take long to exit the place if there was a fire, and there would be one if they did not get out of the way faster.

Morse then used hand signal for his squad. Mckenna to the bar. Kelly on the other side of the dance. Morse would finish moving the prisoners out. He knew there were weapons on the other side of Sykes. Stand down did not mean give up a vantage point for a shot in case one needed to happen, and Morse would have his personnel ready for it.
